Carpool

Toll roads and traffic in Northern Virginia can make for a hectic and expensive commute. You can use the Express Lanes on I-66 and I-495 for free to commute to work faster when you share your ride via carpooling or vanpooling.

Commuter Connections allows you to find and connect with other people using a similar route for their commute. Through their ‘Pool Rewards program, commuters who start or join a new carpool can earn up to $320 when they carpool to work and back over a consecutive 90-day period!

If your employer offers a transit benefit, vanpooling may be an even better option for you. Through services like Commute with Enterprise, you can meet up with others at a Park & Ride lot and use the Express Lanes for your commute. Vanpool Alliance offers hundreds of dollars to keep your cost of vanpooling low and will help you find other riders when you need them.

The nearest Park & Ride lot to 8421 Broad is located at the Spring Hill Metro Station.
